Upon arrival, you’ll meet your Tandem Instructor and receive a briefing, before getting kitted-out with a harness, jump suit and goggles. Suitably attired, you’re ready to make the 20-minute flight to altitude. Getting nervous? You’re sure to feel reassured by the rigorous professionalism of the crew – enabling you to relax and enjoy stunning views of the Plettenburg Bay coastline and Robberg Peninsula. Attached to your Tandem Master, you’ll exit the plane at a height of around 3 kilometres. Few things can prepare you for the rush you’ll experience during 35 seconds of freefall – as you reach speeds of up to 200 kilometres per hour! At the safe altitude, your parachute will be released automatically and you’ll have the opportunity to steer yourself back to earth, under the guidance of your instructor. Onlookers are prone to gawp as you touch down safely on Central Beach – grinning ear to ear and already planning your next jump!

Tandem skydives can be booked seven days a week throughout the year, subject to availability.
There is no minimum age, but participants under 18 need written consent from a parent or guardian. Participants must also be big enough to get safely strapped into the harness. If you are concerned then please enquire before purchasing.

The flight to altitude takes approximately twenty minutes, then there's 35 seconds of free fall and 5-6 minutes of parachuting to the beach.

Six people can jump every half an hour.
Spectators are welcome to watch from the airfield and beach.Jumpers should wear comfortable clothing with shoes that won't fall off. Glasses and contact lenses are allowed, and you're permitted to bring a camera. Jump suits are provided.
Tandem skydiving is a weather dependant activity, meaning it can be cancelled in particularly high winds or low clouds.
If a cancellation occurs, the experience will be rescheduled.
